DEVELOPMENT
The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) plans to revitalize the Jordan Downs community.
RELOCATION
The new community is expected to house approximately 1,410 units of rental and ownership housing units, 120,000+ square feet of retail, and approximately eight acres of open space.
TRANSITION
All relocation noticing and relocation activities will be conducted in compliance with RAD program, Section 8, and URA requirements.

DRA conducted surveys to understand the household characteristics and to effectively plan each relocation.
The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) plans to revitalize the Jordan Downs community, a 670 unit public housing community, for recreation and enrichment. The new construction of sustainable subsidized housing units will be built within the existing Project site. A variety of funding sources, including the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program, will be utilized to convert the public housing units to a mixed-finance housing development. The new community is expected to house approximately 1,410 units of rental and ownership housing units, 120,000+ square feet of retail, and approximately eight acres of open space.
